Fast, Fair, and Friendly Service
Selling a junk car in Florida takes less paperwork than most people fear. Have these ready before pickup day: the Certificate of Title signed over to the buyer, a valid photo ID, the odometer disclosure completed on the title, a filed Notice of Sale (Form HSMV 82050), and a lien release if a lender was ever on the title. That is the whole list for most sales.
Sign the title over to the buyer in the transfer section and record the odometer reading. Both buyer and seller acknowledge the odometer disclosure. If the title is lost, start with our duplicate title guide before scheduling pickup.
Florida sellers must file a Notice of Sale within 30 days of selling a vehicle. This tells the state the car is no longer yours and releases you from liability for what happens with it after the sale. You can file it on the back of the title or with Form HSMV 82050, which also works as a bill of sale. Keep a copy for your records.
If a lender holds or held a lien, you need a lien release or satisfaction before the title can transfer cleanly. Note: we do not buy vehicles with an active lien or loan, so the loan must be fully paid off first.
When our driver arrives, we walk through every signature with you, confirm the paperwork matches the vehicle, and make sure the Notice of Sale gets filed. Most pickups take under 30 minutes. Call (954) 787-5717 or get your offer online when you are ready.
