Lost your title?

You can apply for a duplicate title using FLHSMV Form HSMV 82101 at your county tax collector's office or an FLHSMV service center. Bring a valid photo ID. The duplicate is mailed to you, so start this process as soon as you decide to sell.

After the sale

File a Notice of Sale (Form HSMV 82050) with the FLHSMV to release your liability for the vehicle, and remove your license plate before our truck leaves. If the vehicle will be destroyed, the VIN plate is removed and surrendered with the title paperwork. We walk you through every signature at pickup so nothing is missed.
